Gate driver families suit MOSFETs, IGBTs

The IXD_602 and the IXD_614 families of high-current, low-side gate driver ICs target IXYS power MOSFETs and IGBTs. Each of the two IXD_602 outputs can source and sink 2-A peak current while producing rise and fall times of less than 10 ns. The IXD_614 output can source and sink 14-A peak current.

Both gate driver families operate with supply voltages from 4.5 to 35 V, and are specified from –40° to 125°C automotive temperature range. The logic inputs are CMOS compatible and resistant to latch up. Proprietary circuitry eliminates cross-conduction and current shoot-through.
