Gate drivers enable improved fuel efficiency

The FAN708x gate drivers improve power consumption, noise immunity, and transient voltage performance in automotive applications. They drive MOSFETs and IGBTs in high-side and bridge-driver applications such as direct fuel injection systems and motor controls. They offer 100-µA quiescent power consumption compared to 240–µA quiescent current for competing devices.

The gate driver products are qualified according to the AEC-Q100 standard, are designed to handle negative voltage swings, and are resilient to driver stage latch up.
