Graphics LCD has wide temperature range
As opposed to the typical 0 degrees to 50 degreesC temperature range for
STN LCDs, the G1216 128 x 64 dot matrix LCD has a range of -20 degrees to
70 degreesC. Designed for hostile environments, the dot matrix display
module has built-in intelligent drivers and an 8-bit MPU interface. The
display has a 6:1 contrast, measures 75 (H) x 52.7 (vertical) x 6.8 (D) mm
(reflective version), and weighs 40 g. The viewing area is 60 (H) x 32.5
(vertical) mm with a dot spacing of 0.03 mm and a viewing angle of 60
degrees. Typical power requirements are 5 V at 20 mA and -8 V at 1.8 mA.
The duty cycle is 1/64. A backlit version is also available. ($53 to $63
