Half-pitch switches are surface mountable
DHS Series DIP surface-mount switches have a 0.050-in. center-to-center
terminal spacing. The half-pitch switches carry a similar contact rating
to standard, low-profile, compact DIP switches, yet have twice as many
switches in the same size package. The DHS-8S version of the series has
eight positions and measures 0.244 (W) x 0.468 (L) x 0.087 (H) in. The
series has gold over nickel-plated contacts and terminals, as well as
self-cleaning wiping action and twin-contact points. The contacts are
rated at 100 mA at 50 Vdc (nonswitching), and 100 mA, 5 Vdc (switching)
for 1,000 cycles min. The operating temperature range is -20 degrees to 80
degreesC. The switches come in IC tubes for automatic insertion. (DHS-8S,
