Hall-effect latch sensor offers low voltage

Suited for battery or handheld applications, the MLX92213 Hall-effect latch sensor operates from 1.6 to 3.6 V. The device provides contactless and solid-state switching based on a magnetic solution, therefore offering bounce-free switching and robust operation in dirty and dusty conditions, and is not subject to mechanical wearout.

In addition, the part offers a push-pull output, a dedicated enable pin, and an awake/sleep strategy that results in an average current consumption below 50 µA at 3 V. It is offered in a lead-free and green-compliant 2 x 1.5 x 0.4-mm CSP package. (Call company for pricing and availability.)
