Suited for electrical power steering, window lifters/sunroof, seat adjusters, wipers, or motor commutation, the MLX92211 Hall-effect latch sensor IC operates from 2.7 to 24 V and from a temperature range of –40° to 150°C. The device integrates a voltage regulator, Hall sensor with advanced offset cancellation system, and an open-drain output driver — all in a 3-pin Thin SOT package.
In addition, the chip offers a magnetic sensitivity of ±3 mT typ and a negative temperature coefficient of –1,100 ppm/°C. Features include output current limit with auto-shutoff, undervoltage lockout protection, and thermal protection.
