The ATS617LSG Hall-effect sensor is a differential analog device that switches in response to changing magnetic fields. The three-wire part uses an analog peak-detecting algorithm, automatic gain control, and an integrated tracking capacitor to provide accurate edge detection corresponding to a rotating ferrous target.
Features include a supply voltage of 26.5 V, an output off voltage of 24 V, an operating ambient temperature of –40° to 150°C, and a maximum junction temperature of 165°C. The part is housed in a 4-pin SIP. ($2.55 ea/1,000 — 14 to 16 weeks ARO.)
