Weighing less than 5 kg with batteries, the Metrohm E2550 handheld
cable-fault locator offers cable ranges of 10, 30, 100, 300, 1,000, and 3,000 m
with an accuracy of 1% of the range. Resolution is also 1% of the range.

The device provides a variable velocity factor of from 0.01 to 0.99,
an output pulse of 5 Vp-p open circuit, and impedances of 25, 50, 75, or
