Suitable for field or lab use, the handheld HCT-99-D color and illuminance/luminance meter has a delta-uv function that shows deviation of measured x-y color coordinates from the black-body-radiator locus. In addition to delta-uv, the unit measures x-y and u'-v' color chromaticity coordinates, correlated color temperature, and candela per square meter and/or lux.
Controllable through its USB interface, the meter has a low-profile detector head whose response is precisely corrected to CIE spectral tri-stimulus functions. It also has an X-short function for greater accuracy when measuring high color-temperature sources. Hard carry case, 9-V battery, USB cable, calibration certificate, and DLL file are included; OS-X1 Windows software is optional. ($2,270�available now.)
