The handheld (1-lb) Model Z580 LCR meter measures capacitance and D factor, inductance and Q factor, and resistance, Q factor, and absolute impedance. With a basic accuracy of 0.3%, the $415 meter displays results on a 5-digit, dual-readout LCD and van be used as an ESR meter.
Powered by a 9-V battery, the LCR meter can also provide ∆ and ∆% readings and measures in ranges from 1 μH to 9,999 H and 1 pF to 9,999 µF at 100 and 120 Hz, 0.1 to 999.9 µH and 0.1 to 999.9 pF at 1 and 10 kHz, 0.0001 Ω to 999.9 MΩ, and 0.0001 to 9,999 for D or Q factors.
