Hardware/software building blocks for modems
The AD20msp500/501/502 chipsets provide the key building blocks for a
variety of modems and data pumps. The AD20msp500 chipset, which is the
hardware core of the modem or data pump solution, consists of a PSTN
signal port chip and an ADSP-2100-family compatible programmable signal
processor. It is intended for users who wish to use algorithms other than
those provided by the company. The AD20msp501/502 product sets use data
pump algorithms licensed from Digicom Systems. Both support CCITT
standards V.32, V.22bis, V.22, Bell 212A, and Bell 103. The AD20msp502
adds V.32bis plus fax standards V.17, V.29, V.27ter, and V.21. A data pump
algorithm toolkit is available for use with the AD20msp501/2 products.
