HBT driver amp suits 3G and 4G apps

Suited for high-linearity applications in cellular/3G, WiMAX/4G, and fixed-wireless-equipment applications, the HMC789ST89E GaAs InGaP HBT driver amplifier MMIC is rated from 700 MHz to 2.8 GHz. Simple external matching allows this active-bias device to deliver up to 18-dB gain, 25-dBm output P1dB, and up to 45-dBm output IP3 in selected 3G/4G frequency bands.

Housed in a SOT-89 package, the part consumes 125 mA from a 5-V supply and provides up to 45% PAE. ($5.21 ea/10-99 — available now.)
