HD and SD video filters offer best performance

Ideal for antialiasing and DAC-smoothing video applications, the three-channel MAX11500/MAX11501/MAX11502 and four-channel MAX11504/MAX11505 video filters integrate filters, input clamps, output buffers, and ±12-kV ESD protection. The MAX11500 is a sixth-order 33-MHz HD filter that accommodates component video (YPbPr and RGB), while the MAX11501/MAX11502/MAX11504/MAX11505 are fifth-order SD filters that accommodate component video (YPbPr, RGB, and S-video or Y/C) and composite video (CVBS).

All filters provide inputs that can be either ac- or dc-coupled. The MAX11500 and MAX11501/MAX11502 are offered in an 8-pin SO package, while the MAX11504/MAX11505 are offered in a 10-pin microMAX package. (From $0.55 ea/1,000—available now.)
