HD audio CODEC has class-D amplifier

The CX8200 high performance HD audio CODEC intelligently drives speakers while providing best-in-class speaker protection and elimination of background noise. The IC features a class-D smart amplifier plus hardware/software that allows users to hear speech clearly, speak naturally, and make use of automatic speech recognition for dictation and virtual assistant applications.

The chips THD+N is 78 db for the speaker output and 90 db for the headphone output. It has 14-band hardware EQ, universal jack support, and short circuit, DC, and temperature protection. It comes in a QFN50 package. The device has sample rates to 192 kHz for D/As, and 96 kHz for its A/Ds and allows users to hear clearly what others are saying, speak naturally, and make use of automatic speech recognition for dictation and virtual assistant applications.
