The ADV7623 HDMI 1.4 transceiver incorporates Xpressview technology for seamless, automatic switching between HDMI AV devices in a fraction of a second, eliminating up to 19 s of delay required by many systems. The device includes a 4:1 multiplexed input HDMI receiver, HDMI transmitter, and CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) buffer and controller in an LQFP144 package.
The IC supports all mandatory 3D TV formats in addition to all HDTV formats up to 1080p 12-bit Deep Color. It provides advanced features such as on-screen display and audio-return channel with eight channels of I2 S audio, S/PDIF digital audio output, SACD (super audio CD) and compressed SACD with DSD (direct stream digital), and DST (direct stream transfer ) output interfaces.
