HDSL framer/mapper
meets European standards
The LXP710, an HDSL framer/mapper for E1 systems, complies with all
European telecom standards. The device is optimized for use with the company's
data pump ICs (SK70704/7/8).
The chip multiplexes and demultiplexes framed or unframed 2.048-Mbit/s
data into two or three 1,168-kbit/s HDSL lines, and supports both point-to-point
and point-to-multipoint fractional E1 applications. Features include fully
program-mable mapping and performance monitoring functions such as CRC,
BPV, and FEBE counters and error generators. Packaging is in 84-pin PLCCs.
