Heat pipes cool hot components from 30A series of copper heat pipes are used for transporting power dissipation away from hot electronic components and are offered with 33 round and flat profile heat pipes. They are effective in temperatures ranging from 30° to 120°C.The pipes transfer component heat to heat sinks and distribute heat across the length of heat spreaders.
The cold end of the copper heat pipe attaches to most heat sinks. All heat pipes are hand or machine-shaped to meet application needs. They can be friction fit, clamped, soldered, or adhesively attached. Round profile heat pipes come in lengths from 200 to 300 mm and diameters from 4.0 to 8.0 mm. Flat profile heat pipes range in length from 100 to 250 mm, widths from 8.2 to 10.5 mm, and heights from 2.5 to 4.5 mm.
