Heat sinks cool Cavium processors

The ATS-691 and ATS-725 heat sinks are designed to cool Cavium Network’s OCTEON Plus CN56XX, CN38XX, and CN36XX multicore processors. The ATS-691 includes a 50 x 50 x 10-mm, 6,500-rpm, 12-Vdc blower that provides up to 3.88-cfm airflow to offer a thermal resistances from 0.76 to 0.42°C/W.

Featuring the company’s maxiFLOW design to maximize convection cooling, the ATS-725 heat sink measures roughly 40 x 40 x 58 mm, provides airflow from 100 to 600 ft/min, and thermal resistances from 3.4 to 1.1°C/W. (Contact company for pricing and availability.)
