Hi-rel, bright color LEDs suit mil, industrial apps

The OVM4x series high-reliability, high-sensitivity color LEDs are available processed to MIL-PRF-19500-level TX and TXV specifications to function in extreme conditions. The blue (465 ±5-nm), green (530 ±10-nm), red (624 ±5-nm), and yellow (589 ±5-nm) LEDs are housed in hermetically sealed TO-46 cans with built-in ESD protection.

Typical luminous intensities for InGaN blue and green LEDs are 2,260 and 6,520 mcd, respectively; for AlInGaP red and yellow LEDs, 3,330 and 2,010 mcd, respectively. Power dissipation is 370 mW. Packaged with a clear glass lens, the LEDs have an 18° viewing angle. (Nonspec versions, $10.08 ea / 1,000 — available from stock to 12 weeks ARO.
