The MQFL-28E series hi-rel dc/dc converters use high-efficiency synchronous rectifier technology that suit use in the military/aerospace industry. They handle up to 120-W while meeting the long-term overvoltage surges in the input voltage specified by MIL STD 704(A-F), RTCA/DO-160E, and DEF STAN 61-5. The converters accept continuous input voltages from 16 to 70 V while permitting transient inputs from 16 to 80 V for 1 s.
The converter series offers single-output voltages including 1.5, 1.8, 2.5, 3.3, 5, 6, 7.5, 9, 12, 15, and 28 V. Dual-output converters provide output voltages of ±5, ±12, and ±15 V, providing up to 80% power from either output. The converters operate at up to 91% efficiency from –55° to 125°C.
