The SD1710 StereoMirror 3D/stereoscopic display provides performance similar to higher-end displays in the series but at a price less than $2,500 in single quantities, making the technology affordable for a broader range of applications.
The 1,280 x 1,024-pixel, 17-in. display is composed of two LCD monitors in an up/down configuration separated at a 110° angle. A semitransparent mirror positioned at a bisecting angle between the two monitors, combined with polarizing glasses, generates the stereo separation. The display is compatible with graphics cards and stereo software used with previous StereoMirror displays. ($2,395 — available now.)
