High-brightness CCFL lamps backlight LCDs
The BL-188 family of cold-cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) backlights are
designed for black and white STN LCDs in palmtop, notebook, and laptop
computers with screen sizes from 6 to 10.4 in. The backlights use edge-lit
technology with a single CCFL lamp for a typical power consumption of 1.5
W for a 10-in. device with a brightness of 400 cd/m
uniformity is +/-15%. The lamps measure 3 mm thick, have an operating
temperature range of 10 degrees to 45 degreesC and are available in
tri-color white, daylight white, and warm white chromaticities. Lamps with
outputs up to 3,500 cd/m
