High-current power inductors for dc/dc converters
The 5.0 x 5.0 x 2.0-mm NRS5020 and the 5.0 x 5.0 x 4.0-mm NR5040 square, wirewound power inductors are designed for use in dc/dc converters in digital equipment. Compared to the company’s previous 1.6-A 75-mΩ-power inductors, the NRS5020 has a 2.0-A dc bias allowed current, 4.7-µH inductance, and dc resistance of 60 mΩ.
The NR5040 has a rated current of 2.3 A, with the widely used inductance of 10 µH. (NRS5020, NR5040, $0.30 each — samples available now.)
