High-current regulator reduces PCB size 70%

The IR3847 high-current PoL integrated voltage regulator is a third-generation design that extends the current rating to 25 A in a 5 x 6-mm package. A thermally enhanced package uses a copper clip and several proprietary innovations that enable the device to operate at 25 A without a heatsink, and reduces PCB size by 20% compared to alternative integrated solutions and 70% compared to discrete solutions.
