High-current relay is thin and lightweight
The RB1 electromechanical card relay delivers 5 A of thermal current.
Designed for pc-board use, the device measures 20 x 5 x 18 mm and weighs 4
g. The RB1 is UL recognized and CSA certified. A flux-tight construction
prevents leakage and gold-plated, silver-alloy contacts allow the device
to be used in low-level circuits. The operating time is 10 ms or less at
rated coil voltages of 3, 4.5, 5, 6, 12, or 24 Vdc. The operating
temperature range is -40 degrees to 70 degreesC and the power consumption
is 0.2 W. The life expectancy is 20 million operations. ($2.62 ea/1,
