The CP3500 rectifier is the industry’s first compact, 3.5-kW ac to 48-Vdc rectifier in a 1U module that provides a higher power-to-space ratio than traditional 2 to 3-kW rectifiers housed in similar 1U rack or cabinet mountings. It features power conversion efficiency up to 96%, targeting data centers, telecommunications, and networking / big data supercomputing applications.
The rectifier product line offers expanded communications and diagnostics capabilities to provide rapid system diagnostics and response, as well as remote firmware upgrades, without increasing the system’s footprint. GE developed its rectifier product line using FastWorks methodologies, a set of tools and principles that integrate external thinking and discussion into the design process, bringing products to market faster than previously possible.
