The MGA-43128 power amplifier is claimed to deliver superior transmission while simplifying design for 700 to 800-MHz cellular infrastructure equipment.Features include a gain of 33.4 dB, a linear power output of 29.1 dBm at 2.5% error vector magnitude, a PAE of 22% at linear Pout, and a power shutdown feature with less than 50-µA shutdown current.
RF input is fully matched while the output includes integrated prematch circuitry for matching and application simplicity. An integrated bypass-switch-controlled attenuator provides up to 18.0-dB attenuation, and the device also has a temperature-compensated power detector on chip. The part is offered in a 5.0 x 5.0 x 0.85-mm 28-lead QFN package and operates over a temperature range of –40° to 85°C. ($8.03 ea/10,000 — available now.)
