The AVR XMEGA 8-bit MCU features 1.3-µW standby power with operating RTC and RAM retention and true 1.8-V operation. The 128-Kbyte flash model, running at 1 MIPS, needs only 0.6 mW. Single clock cycle operation and 32 working registers connected to the ALU make AVR XMEGA more efficient than other MCUs.
The IC has fast 12-bit analog functions, a DMA controller, an innovative event system, a crypto engine, 16 to 384 Kbytes of flash, up to 16 Kbytes of SRAM, and 44 to 100-pin packages. The IC also features watchdog timer and brownout-detector current consumption of only 1 µA, 16- and 32-bit arithmetic support, and 16- and 24-bit memory pointers.
