The ATCA-7370 blade computer uses two eight-core Xeon E5-2600 family processors and optimizes data flow between processors, memory, the backplane, and rear transition modules (RTMs). The ATCA format boards processor features four memory controller channels going to up to 128 Gbytes of fast DDR3-1600 RAM and extensive PCIe terminations.
The cards PICMG 3.1 compliant fabric interface provides both 1 Gbit and 10 Gbit Ethernet capability for applications requiring higher network throughput in the backplane. The board conforms to IPMI 2.0 and offers hardware off-loading of en/decryption, compression, and pattern look-up. Interfaces include and USB 2.0 and SAS connections. ($7,500 — available July.)
