High-power connectors offer safety features

The PowerMod HP series connector family are are IP-20 rated and feature touch-safe female housings, cable-strain relief, and integral positive latches. The RoHS-compliant connectors are rated up to 450 A at a 30°C temperature rise, offer low electrical resistance, and 500 mating cycles minimum.

The integral coding key provides further protection by allowing the user to configure unique mating of up to six individual connectors. The connectors accommodate American wire sizes from 6 to 4/0 AWG and metric wires from 13.3 to 95 mm2 . (Contact company for pricing and availability.)
