High-precision resistor clears up audio apps
Built on the company’s Bulk Metal Z-foil technology, the VAR ultra-high-precision audio resistor is specially designed for increased clarity. TCR is ±0.2ppm/°C, operating temperature range is from –55° to 125°C, PCR is 5ppm at rated power, absolute tolerance is 0.01%, and current noise is less than –40 dB.
Load-life stability is ±0.01% for 2000 hours at 70°C; voltage coefficient is less than 0.1PPM/V, thermal EMF is less than 0.05µV/°C, and resistance ranges from 10 Ω to 100 kΩ. The resistor offers a rise time of 1.0 ns without ringing. (From $4.26—3 weeks ARO.)
