High-speed devices use little power
The MAX438/439 op amps offer high speed and micropower operation. The
MAX438 uses less than 75 microamps while providing a 6-MHz gain-bandwidth
product and a 10-V/μs slew rate. The MAX439 has a 10-MHz gain-bandwidth
product, a 48-V/μs slew rate, and draws less than 375 microamps. The
MAX438 drives a 10-kohm load to +/-3.6 V, and the MAX439 drives a 2-kohm
load to +/-3.3 V. Both devices operate with supply voltages from +/-3 to
+/-5 V and are available in 8-pin DIPs and SO packages. (MAX438, from $1.
