High-voltage/current reed relays come in tiny packages
The SIL HV Series high-voltage/high-current reed relays come in epoxy-sealed single-in-line packages that measure only 24 x 6.4 x 8.9 mm. This series can switch up to 1,000 V and carry up to 5 A for up to 50 ms at a consistent repetition rate or 10 A at pulsed current for up to 10 µs.
The relays can dielectrically hold off up to 4,000 V across the contacts as well as between contacts and coil. An optional offset pinout measuring 29 x 6.4 x 8.9 mm is also available. Standard coil selections include 5 or 12 V with or without diode suppression. The relays are RoHS complaint and UL approved. (Call company for pricing — samples available now.)
