High-voltage dc supplies provide 240-kW output

The DRC series of high-voltage dc power supplies provide up to 240-kW output power from parallel operation. The modular supplies provide power densities to 5.8 W/in.3 and suit 19in. rack mounting applications. They provide over-voltage, over-current, short circuit, arc detection, arc quenching, excessive arcing, interlocks, over-temperature protection, IGBT over-current, line under/over-voltage with thermal management protections.

The high-voltage supplies feature air and water-cooled versions, and operate from 0° to +40°C. Single chassis supplies offer air-cooled outputs from 4 kW to 20 kW and water-cooled outputs from 4 kW to 25 kW. They operate from input voltages from 187 and 528 Vac (single and three phase), and provide output voltages from 500 to 450 kV. (Contact company for price and availability.)
