High voltage power resistors are non-inductive

The Maxi-Mox axial power resistors are high value devices with ratings from 2 to 12.5 W and a non-inductive option. The MOX-2 version comes in 500Ω to 700,000 MΩ with a TCR of 100, or 50, or 25 ppm and a voltage rating of 20 KV. The resistors voltage coefficient is as low as 2 PPM/V.

An example part number, the MOX2N131005J 10 MΩ, 3 W, 5%, non-inductive part, is epoxy coated and is 2.120 inches long with a 0.31 inch diameter. It costs about $8.50 each in 100 quantity. The standard epoxy coated units are power de-rated from 25° to 110°C, while a silicone coated version is de-rated from 70° to 210°C.
