The HIPPI-830 is a HIPPI interface board for VME and VME64 systems. The
board operates to ANSI X3T9.3, allowing for data transfer at up to 100
Mbytes/s. Interfacing is possible to VME workstations from Silicon
Graphics and Sun, supercomputers from Cray and Convex, and embedded
systems from Force and Motorola. The buffered interface is based on a
68030 microprocessor running at 33 MHz. The interface uses a 6U board
format. The board can be a bus master or slave, has dual RS-232 ports, and
a mezzanine board slot that can be used to add Ethernet, SCSI, or VSB
