The HW series and HX series are high-voltage power modules. The HW series features 100-W output power with output voltages from 1 to 50 kV, and suits lasers, capacitor charging, ion pumps, and ion implantation. The 200-W HX series provides voltages from 40 to 50 kV and suits x-ray applications. The units operate from a 24-V input and provide 80% efficiency.
The high-voltage modules control the output voltage via an internal potentiometer, external potentiometer or by an external 10-V analog control voltage. All units are short circuit proof and use PWM switching techniques in conjunction with a ferrite step-up transformer to control the output voltage. (Contact company for price and availability.)
