The 8-bit ADC24 A/D converter is a hybrid CMOS integrated circuit that reduces an entire A/D conversion system to a 24-pin DIP package. The device requires only a single supply voltage of 5 V dc, ground, as well as an analog signal input to instantly produce 8-bit parallel digital data on its outputs.
It digitizes signals from dc to 60 kHz and consumes less than 100 mW. Applications include industrial controls, data acquisition systems, instrumentation, digital audio, communications, and automation. (Contact company for pricing and availability.)
