Hybrid stepper motors offer open-loop control

Offered in three versions, the MAE hybrid stepper motors deliver accurate open-loop control for a wide range of high-performance positioning applications. The HY Series versions come in Sizes 16, 17, 23, and 42 and feature low rotor inertia for maximum acceleration.

The Size 34 HN motors offer a calculated balance between low rotor inertia and high torque, while the HS motors come in Sizes 17, 23, and 34. Holding torques (bipolar) ranging from 12 to 2,018 oz-in. can be achieved. Step resolutions of 1.8° (200 steps/rev) are offered in full-step mode. (Contact Shannon Booth for pricing—available now.)
