Hydraulic sensors suit embedded cylinder apps

The small MS Series mobile hydraulic position sensors fit welded and tie-rod compact (38-mm-Dia.) cylinder applications and are compatible with existing embedded in-cylinder designs. The absolute-position, noncontact linear sensors come in rugged 28-mm (Dia.) housings that suit off-highway environments.

Taking readings from of 2 to 78 in., the fully sealed sensors have 100-g shock, 15-g vibration, and 100 V/m EMI protection ratings. They operate from 40 to 105C and offer options of individual wire or cable connection and outputs of 0 to 5 V, 0.25 to 4.75 V, 0 to 20 mA, 4 to 20 mA, or PWM.
