I/O module provides RS-485 from USB

The EMIO-100S, USB 2.0 to high-speed serial module takes a USB input to an RS-232/485 output. The output can reach 1 Mbits/s for RS-232 and up to 10 Mbits/s for RS-422/RS485. There are 4 Kbyte FIFO send/receive buffers.

The 50.95 x 30 x 10 mm cards form factor is for full-size MiniPCIe. The serial COM port has 4 KV peak isolation and the card operates from -40° to 85°C. Similar modules are available for parallel port (EMIO-100P) and CANBus (EMCB-200U) functions.
