I2C serial EEPROM features MAC address

The 24AA025E48 cascadable I2C serial EEPROM device features a preprogrammed EUI-48-node MAC address. The chip’s read current is 1 mA max and standby current is 1 µA max.

The 2-Kbit device comes in 6-pin SOT-23 or 8-pin SOIC packages and runs at up to 400 kHz clock frequency. It has endurance of 1,000,000 write/erase cycles, and operates at 1.7 to 5.5 V at –40° to 85°C. ($0.22 ea/10,000 — samples available now.)
