The LMP92064 digital current sensor and voltage monitor features simultaneous sampling and a 20 kHz 4-wire SPI data interface. The chip has a precision current sense amplifier, a voltage monitor amp, and two 12-bit A/D converter channels sampling at up to 125 kS/s. It also has a 2.048 V reference.
The WSON-16 packaged devices current input has an input-referred offset voltage of ±15 μV, a common-mode voltage range of -0.2 to 2 V, a maximum differential input of +75 mV, a CMRR of 110 dB, and a fixed gain of 25 V/V. Integral non-linearity error for both channels is ±1 LSB and the device operates over -40° to 105°C from a single 5 V supply. The IC costs approximately $3.58 ea/250 and an evaluation module is available.
