The TC358870XBG display serial interface (DSI) IC is a 4K HDMI to MIPI dual-DSI converter with video format conversion. It is said to be the only device available that enables direct 4K HDMI video input to LCD displays with a MIPI dual-DSI input.
The IC comes in a 7 x7 mm 80-pin package and supports up to 3840 x 2160 at 24 b/p at a refresh rate of 30 f/s and enables YCbCr to RGB and YCbCr to RGB color format conversion. Any of the four audio interfaces are available: I2S, TDM, S/P-DIF, or SLIMbus. Samples are available now with sample pricing of $5.00 ea.
