IC family switches PCIe signals

The PI2PCIE family of four PCI Express 2.0 signal switches operates at 5.0 Gbits/s and supports full-duplex, bidirectional, differential operation. They use a 1.8-V supply and typically take 200 µA quiescent current.

The PI2PCIE2212 one-lane signal switch provides 2:1 mux/demux operation via a single select control and the PI2PCIE2214 one-lane switch provides 4:1 mux/demux operation. The PI2PCIE2442 two-lane signal switch provides 2:2 bus exchange operation via a single control. The PI2PCIE2452 two-lane version provides 2:2 matrix switching operation. The PI2PCIE2212 comes in a TQFN28 package, while the other three ICs are supplied in TQFN42 packages. ($2 ea/10,000 — available now.)
