IDE enables fast design with all AVR MCUs

The AVR Studio 5 integrated development environment supports all 8- and 32-bit Atmel AVR microcontrollers and enables seamless migration between 8- and 32-bit devices. The package provides an advanced editor with assisted code writing, a wizard for quickly creating new projects, a software framework source code library, a GNU C/C++ compiler, a powerful simulator, and a front-end visualizer for all of AVR programmers and in-circuit debuggers.

IDE enables fast design with all AVR MCUs

The design tool is not Eclipse based, like many other tools, but provides for easy web-based access to third-party tools, a device selection guide, datasheets, application notes, and reference design kits. Integrated in AVR Studio 5.0 is the AVR Software Framework, a source code library for AVR MCUs with over 400 complete application examples, a full set of peripherals drivers, wired and wireless communication stacks, audio decoding, graphics rendering, and fixed- and floating-point math libraries.
