Illuminated pushbuttons eliminate PCB lightpipe

The ELUM Series right-angle illuminated pushbutton switches are available with or without LEDs and feature custom snap-on caps to eliminate the need for a separate LED and lightpipe on a PCB. The switch design enables the LED to travel with the actuator to ensure even distribution of light.

The pushbutton switches feature a 6-mm profile and come in through-hole and SMT configurations. Ratings range from 0.01 to 250 mA and 20 mV to 50 Vdc. The latching version (push-push) can be specified for switching functions such as mode select and power on/off, while the momentary version is ideal for test, reset and notification functions. ($1.24 to $1.81 ea/10,000—6 to 8 weeks ARO.)
