Sounds like a lot of money for a toilet? The Kohler “Numi” toilet transforms the traditional toilet into a personal comfort station and conserves water and power at the same time.

How advanced is the Numi?

When you walk into your bathroom, the toilet’s front sensors react to your movement and the toilet seat cover opens automatically. Its floor-level sensors will even detect if the seat needs to be raised or lowered to accommodate males and females. You can adjust your Numi’s chair height and seat position or heat your seat for an even higher level of comfort.

Once you’ve tended to your bathroom business, adjust the wand position, water pressure, and temperature on the integrated bidet function. Then, it’s built-in dryer will dry you off.  Regardless of what business you’re taking care of, Numi’s deodorizers will keep the toilet smelling fresh.

On winter mornings, when the floor is too cold to tolerate placing your feet on it, the toilet’s floor-level vents shoot warm air to heat the floor and keep your feet comfortable.

If you plan on being in the bathroom for a while, plug your iPod into the magnetic docking station or sift through the radio stations and listen to your music from the built-in speakers.

Numi conserves water with its automatic flush features where you can choose between a full or a partial flush, using at least 20% less water than a 1.6-gallon toilet.

 
The original Numi toilet was released in 2011. The version shown here is the most recent and includes even more features than when initially released. Some of the additions include a Bluetooth receiver, ambient lighting in seven colors, and an accessible battery pack that supports up to 100 flushes in the event of a power outage.
