VGA devices operate at up to 210 fps
Boasting a peak quantum efficiency of 55%, the VGA-resolution KAI-0340M Series image sensors are available in versions operating at up to 110 fps (KAI-0340SM) to 210 fps (KAI-0340DM)�rates presented as being significantly faster than current devices of their type. Faster frame rates for the 1/3-in.-format devices can be obtained by using a fast horizontal line dump, with speeds of up to 4,000 fps at a resolution of 244 x 60.
Features include a pixel size of 7.4 µm2 , electronic shuttering, an output sensitivity of 30 µV/e, and a dark current of under 0.5 nA/cm2 at 40°C. An optional RGB Bayer color filter array is available, and the imager can be coupled with the KSC-1000 timing generator to simplify camera design. (From $79�available now.)
