The IC-3173 fanless industrial controller features a 2.2 GHz 5th generation Core i7 processor, 8 Gbytes of DDR3, rugged packaging, and extensive connectivity options. It uses the NI Linux Real-Time OS and has dual USB 3.0 ports, DisplayPort, RS485, and five independent Ethernet ports, with PoE.
The unit also has a Kintex-7 160T FPGA for custom I/O timing, control, and image processing. It adds connectivity via EtherCAT, EtherCAT motion drives, GigE Vision, and USB3 Vision cameras. Developers can use LabVIEW system design software to create, debug, and deploy logic to the IC-3173, using hundreds of prewritten libraries for analysis, control, logging, motion, and image processing.
